Vessels
Few objects make the connection to the human experience as intimately as the vessel. From the infant's feeding cup to the funerary urn our lives are bound to the vessel form through daily use. Vessels have been used throughout history as ritual containers that can represent the spiritual aspects of life. By working with vessel forms in glass I want to explore the historical linkage between spiritual practice and the use of the vessel as a sacred object.
